Catch hidden allergens, automatically

Scan a barcode or snap the ingredient panel. AlleRecipe reads every line — and the sneaky aliases a keyword search misses, like casein, whey, and lactose for milk — then tells you exactly what it found.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I import recipes from?

From recipe websites, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, screenshots, photos of handwritten cards, and saved video files. Just share the link or media to AlleRecipe and it does the rest. There are in-app guides for each source.

Is AlleRecipe free?

Yes, we believe that allergy management should be as free as possible, so we're trying to keep the prices down! We make use of some basic recipe text extraction methods to extract content from websites, but in Pro mode we utilize AI to supercharge that with better text extraction, nutrition facts, and the ability to extract recipes from videos.

For some modes such as gout, we also add an analysis to assess risk of triggering gout attacks.

Allergy management is a personal problem that we want to help everyone manage.

Is it available for both iPhone and Android?

AlleRecipe is currently only available for Android, but iOS is on the roadmap.

Does it work offline?

Your profiles, saved recipes, and history live on your device and work fully offline. Looking up a brand-new barcode or importing a recipe for the first time needs an internet connection.

How does it catch “hidden” allergens?

AlleRecipe knows the aliases an allergen hides behind — casein, whey, and lactose for milk; semolina and seitan for wheat; and many more — and calls them out in plain language so you learn them for next time.

Can it handle more than one person's allergies?

Yes. Add a profile per household member with their own allergens, and every scan and recipe shows a per-person verdict so you know exactly who a dish is safe for.

Is AlleRecipe medical advice?

No. It's a helpful assistant, not a medical device, and ingredient data can be incomplete or change. Always verify against the physical packaging and follow your doctor's guidance for severe allergies.
